Our Story: From Kitchen to Classroom
Nutrition Kitchen Skills was born from a simple observation: most people want to cook healthier meals, but lack the foundational knowledge to do so with confidence. Our founder spent years researching nutritional science and culinary arts, discovering that the gap between knowing "what to eat" and "how to prepare it" was the real barrier to sustainable healthy eating.
We created this platform to bridge that gap—not through restrictive diet plans or complicated rules, but through practical education. Founder & Lead Instructor
Jana holds a master's degree in nutritional sciences and studied classical cooking in Vienna. With 12 years of experience teaching cooking workshops, she believes that understanding food at a molecular level transforms how we prepare meals. Outside the kitchen, she's a passionate cyclist and forager.
Marián Horváth
Culinary Techniques Specialist
Marián is a professionally trained chef with 15 years in restaurant kitchens across Europe. He specializes in precision knife skills, heat management, and flavor balancing. His students love his meticulous demonstrations and his ability to explain the "why" behind each technique. When not teaching, he develops recipes for local restaurants.
Petra Vařilová
Nutritional Science Consultant
Petra holds a PhD in food chemistry and has published research on ingredient interactions and nutrient retention.
